How It Works

Crafting Beauty Beneath the Surface

These finishes begin with freshly poured, high-quality concrete. A chemical surface retarder is applied to slow down the curing of the topmost “cream” layer. After a controlled period, our team carefully removes this thin layer using a high-pressure washer, revealing the fine sands and stones hidden within the concrete. The result is a naturally slip-resistant, multi-textured surface that’s as beautiful as it is durable.

Where to Use Buff Wash & Exposed Aggregate Concrete

This finish is suitable for virtually any flatwork application:

No matter the project, Maxima Concrete ensures every broom-finished surface is perfectly graded, properly cured, and beautifully detailed.

Simple cleaning and resealing every 2–3 years keeps the finish vibrant and protects it from stains and weather.

Absolutely. We offer a range of aggregate types and integral colors so your finish complements your home and landscape.
